Team Formation

Hi everyone! I'd like to encourage you to begin forming a team as soon as possible. This will help ensure you make the most of your time on the day of the hackathon.

You can navigate to the "Participants" (https://mongodb-genai-hackathon-6-14.devpost.com/participants) page to indicate if you’re looking for teammates or not via the checkbox option. If you’re looking for a team, complete the text box to introduce yourself, and ideas you have, or what kind of teammates you’re looking for.

See someone you’d like to team up with? Click the “Team-up request” button to compose a message and send them an email. The email will be sent from the email address associated with your Devpost account, so the person you’re messaging can reply to you directly. You’ll only be able to message each user one time.

Once both participants have confirmed they are interested in forming a team, the team leader must then add the other person to their project. Go to your project page and click + add team members. This will take you to the "Edit" your project page, where you can either copy the invitation link to send to your potential teammate or simply insert their email to have the invitation sent directly from Devpost. You may also join our Discord (https://discord.gg/aAMkNx8cez) to have real time discussions about team formation there.

IF you form a team ahead of Friday, June 14, please have the team captain submit the team details and project idea via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/1bh2UfqEHuJgdcWT6. Final projects will be submitted via Devpost.
